Dr Nataraj KS is a consultant in hematology and Hematology-oncology, Stem Cell Transplant Physician and Cancer Immunologist at Mazumdar Shaw Medical Centre, Narayana Health City, Bangalore. He handles adult and pediatric cases of patients with hematological disorders, leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, MDS and immunodeficiency disorders, bleeding and clotting disorders.
Dr Nataraj is also a treating physician for patients undergoing autologous, allogeneic stem cell transplantations and is part of a team that has performed autologous, allogeneic transplants with graft manipulations, transplants from unrelated donors, mismatched donors, and partially matched donors and more than 1400 stem cell transplants till date. Dr Nataraj also teaches residents in Hematology and is a dissertation guide for residents in the Hematology fellowship and Diplomate of National Board Super Specialty program.

- Diagnosing benign hematology patients Viz Anemias, thrombocytopenia and leukopenia and managing the patients as per standard practice
- Performing essential diagnosis out of peripheral smear, bone marrow aspiration slides
Analyzing basic flow cytometry reports.
- Managing bleeding and coagulation disorder patients
- Serving consultation calls from different departments of the hospital and working hematological aspects of other diseases viz Chronic kidney disease, Cardiomyopathies, Sepsis with organ failure patients, etc
