Helios Emil von Behring
The Helios Hospital Emil von Behring, an academic teaching hospital of the Charite, is a qualified expert care facility southwest of Berlin. The Helios Hospital Emil von Behring was established in 2000 when Oskar-Helene-Heim, Heckeshorn Lung Clinic, and Behring Hospital merged.

Our focus:
- Postural and muscle-skeletal problems are treated, with a focus on joint replacement and spinal surgery.
 - General, visceral, and minimally invasive surgery. They specialise in esophagus, liver, pancreas, and rectum surgeries.
 - Hematology and oncology are medicine fields that treat normal and cancerous blood diseases and tumour diseases.
 - Pneumology and thoracic surgery are the study and treatment of diseases of the lungs and other breathing organs that are caused by cancer.
 - Vascular surgery, or angiology, is the surgical and non-surgical treatment of arteries, veins, and lymphatic system illnesses.
 - Plastic and cosmetic surgery, such as surgery to change a person’s gender or to treat the effects of genital cutting in women, hand surgery, and treating children with congenital disabilities in their wrists.
 - Pediatric orthopedics and traumatology (diagnosing and treating spine malformations like scoliosis, kyphosis, valgus feet, knock knees, etc.), pediatric lung medicine, allergies, and pediatric rheumatism.
